Dear
friends,
We're
well and truly into Spring now and it's detox time! All around me I see
programmes for doing Spring detox work. I'm also offering my private
clients at this time extra support in their individual programmes by
getting them to check in with me more regularly. It can be a challenge
to take time out to do detox work so it's reassuring to know that you
can have additional help to achieve your cleansing work this Spring,
which can boost energy levels and the immune system, improve skin tone,
relieve allergies and help shed any lingering winter kilos.
The theme of this and next month's Come
Lunch with me
activity will also reflect the Spring energy, as the meal is
prepared with fresh local seasonal organic ingredients and I select
ingredients which balance the Kapha aspect to support participants'
digestive health.
If
you are starting to
plan ahead for summer breaks, I'm organising a gourmet yoga
retreat from 27-29th July in a beautiful location in
the Swiss Alps including daily yoga asana
classes, 3 cooking workshops (ayurvedic and live food), meditation and
Kirtan sessions and much more. I'm offering an early bird price
until end April and
a few NN subscribers have already snapped up their spots by paying
their deposit. If you've recently sent me your deposit at the Post
Office but not yet sent in your booking form, please contact me as soon
as possible so I can confirm your spot since sometimes it's difficult
to read the writing on the payment slip ...
Recently
a few friends and colleagues have been falling sick - one had pneumonia and
had to go into hospital. She is a busy entrepreneur and mum who is very
dedicated to her work and had kept going even though she had not been
feeling great. Thankfully, with the right treatment, she's now recovering well.
However, it's
clear that we do not want to put our lives on hold because it's
Spring and Nature is telling us it's the best time to cleanse but
sometimes if there is a lot of "stuff" to clear from the previous
season we are forced to slow down because there is a backlog. And all that
may be needed are a few quiet nights to catch up or putting on hold or
reducing some professional/private activities for a while - depending
on the extent of the backlog.
In
today's article, I talk about strategies we can use to make sure we
enjoy the richness our health wealth for as long as possible.
Enjoy!
To your health and
satisfaction
