Yoga
The word Yoga literally means “union” and is a practice through which we re-unite in ‘oneness’ with our true nature and the self to achieve ‘bliss’ on all three plains; physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Yoga or ‘union’ is primarily accomplished in the Western world via a series of physical exercises, set to breath, with due mind awareness. The postures themselves encourage the release of tension in the nervous system, physically strengthen and tone the body, and promote greater health.
